The recent publication of several works by atheist authors has elicited anti-atheist reaction from segments of the theist-creationist and deist communities.  The atheist position is variously interpreted as being the manifestation of mental illness or cult-like adherence to an anti-religious religion (now, there’s an oxymoronic concept for you!)
